Original Designs:

Flapping Bird. A flapping bird that I discovered in 1995 while playing around with the traditional one. It is something of a cross between the traditional flapping bird and Robert Lang's Seagull, which is diagrammed on pp. 113–114 of The Complete Book of Origami. I am particularly pleased with the flapping mechanism, which is somewhat different from that of the traditional flapping bird.

Diagrams are available in html and pdf formats.

Raptor. An origami paper airplane that I designed in 2005, which is somewhat reminiscent of an F-22 Raptor, whence its name. In essence, it is a combination of the base used by Michael LaFosse in his F-14 Tomcat model and Thay Yang's fuselage folding technique. It can be folded either from a square sheet of paper or from an ordinary sheet of letter paper. It flies quite well with a slight upward curl of the back of each horizontal stabilizer.

Diagrams are available in pdf format. A 30-minute video showing how to fold it is also available.
